- I am teaching a course at a local community college and I am looking for a new
- textbook. I am currently using Thinking in C++ by Bruce Eckel. I love the
- book but my students are having a lot of trouble with it. He describes a lot
- of the internals of the language. Most of the students get frustrated with
- that since they really don't understand compilers and precompilers.
-
- A lot of my students like the book "C++ for dummies" but I do not want to use
- this book because of the title.
- Does anyone have any suggestions?
